Boiler: a large tank or vessel in which water is heated to boiling temperature and stored, either as hot water or as steam, and used for heating or generating power. Also the slang term used to refer to outdoor water furnaces that are not heated to boiling and are not pressurized. Boilers are plural meaning more than one.

Boiler plate: rolled steel for making boilers must be used for boilers because of the steam pressure. Boiler system: refers to installation of a water furnace heating unit. Usually a natural gas or electric boiler system is inside the building. Industry’s outdoor hydronic wood furnaces are sometimes called boiler systems.

Biomass heating: burning of biomass in a furnace to produce heat.

Central boiler: outdoor water furnace that is centrally located to the buildings, it is to heat.

Central Heating /Central Heating System/ Central Heating Systems : Singular and plural version of the wonderful comfort that comes from central heating of your building. Before modern central heating systems the rooms farthest from the pot bellied stove were cold!

Coal Furnace/Coal Furnaces: a heating apparatus that uses coal as its power source/solid heating fuel/ energy source.

Corn furnace/Corn furnaces: biomass furnaces that specialize in corn burning

Ecoburn : to produce heat economically—an efficient wood burn is the most economic heating in some areas

Electric boiler or electric boilers: no one boils electricity, so it must mean, the boiler uses electricity as its power source

Furnace/furnaces: apparatus including combustion chamber in which minerals, metals, etc. may be subjected to continuous intense heat; a very hot place:, closed fireplace, for heating water to warm buildings by hot pipes; heat in furnace

Gasification boilers would likely be a heating vessels that is fueled by the wood gasification process. Wood gasification boiler is just one. Look for a very efficient wood gasification unit. They are very efficient as they do all three phase of a wood combustion burn.

Heater or heaters: simply supply heat

Heating: heat is applied to room, water, food, etc.

Heating and cooling systems: a geothermal system can give comfort systems as they can heat and cool your building to maintain your comfortable inside environment. Geo-systems use a heat pump. Heating Furnaces what else does a furnace do but heat? Is there a cooling furnace?

Heating system/ heating systems: almost everyone in North America requires at least one. A highly efficient outdoor water furnace can be designed to have heating systems in many buildings from one furnace. A radiator installed in the plenum in the home, in floor heat in the shop with a manifold distributing the heat, a shinook in the riding, area or the greenhouse, water to water plate exchanger for the swimming pool or hot tub, Spas can have towel warmers. Dog kennels, poultry barns , grain dryers all can use the heat supplied by an outdoor water furnace.

High efficiency boiler or highly efficient boiler: must be over 80% efficient

Home heating: many different methods are used in North America where our winters are cold without a home heating system.

Hot water boiler or hot water boilers: Brings water to boiling point. Get more than one if you need lots of boiling water. If you require lots of hot water consider the highly efficient Portage & Main Outdoor Water Furnaces with a sidearm.

Hot water furnace/ hot water furnaces: a vessel in which water is heated and circulated to heat the building.

Hot water heater: simply a unit that heats water as in domestic hot water. It could be water heated and circulated in a building for heat. Could also be a plate exchanger that transfers heat to water or even a side arm that is used to transfer heat to water for domestic hot water.

Hydronic heating: water system heating. Every efficient as water distributes more heat than air will. EPA has a classification of outdoor water furnaces as outdoor wood hydronic heaters.

Wood boiler/ wood boilers:

Outdoor furnace, outdoor furnaces: one furnace or two or more furnaces. Furnaces may be staged to build in redundancy for large heating requirements.

Outdoor Water Heater: same as outside water heater. Some of these were in the horse trough before heating bowls became popular.

Outdoor wood burning furnace/furnaces may also be described as an outside furnace or out side furnaces that use solid fuel wood as their fuel source.

Outdoor wood furnace boiler / outdoor wood furnace boilers an attempt to describe an outdoor water furnace unless the boiler is producing steam and is under pressure

Outdoor wood furnace or outside wood furnace used to refer to the old double barrel furnaces that were installed in a work shop. Some were called out door wood furnaces or out side furnaces.

Outdoor boiler/outdoor boilers refers to any boiler that is installed outside of the building it heats because no one would try to boil the outdoors or it that what they used to say global warming was?

Outdoor stove/outdoor stoves: unit(s) that is used outside to provide heat or to cook on in the camp ground. Could also be an outside fireplace that we sit around in the back yard.

Outdoor wood stove or outdoor wood stoves probably referred to the old wood stove that was out in the summer kitchen. None of the summer kitchen I knew of had plural stoves!

Outdoor wood burning boiler should apply to a wood heating unit that brings water to boiling point and is therefore under pressure.

Outdoor corn stove a stove that is outside that uses corn as its fuel.(Bio-mass heating)

Outdoor Wood Burner exactly as it says or could it be an outside fire pit that burns wood. Quite possibly the outdoor wood burners would be at the park or the camp grounds where there is more than one burner or fire pit.

Outdoor wood burning stove for sure is the wood stove that was in the kitchen shacks we could uses at the campgrounds if we were rained out.

Outdoor wood fired boiler is an outdoor wood fired unit that heats a liquid to boiling point.

Outside wood furnace is basically identical to an outdoor wood stove

Outdoor wood stove boiler-sounds like it is similar to the outside wood burning stove that is used to bring liquid to a boil.

Outdoor wood boiler or outdoor wood boilers could be a boiler that boils wood but I doubt that is the case. So why would you want more than one?

Radiant heat / radiant heating heating tubes in the floor from which heat radiates warming the room-- especially kind in bathrooms. Love the radiant heat towel warmers—um um pampered.

Radiant floor heat/floor heating/ radiant floor heating definitely heat which radiates through the floor.

Renewable energy wood is renewable energy as we can manage our forests/tree lots etc.

Steam boiler when sufficient heat is applied to water, it will boil and produce steam. The steam can be generated to produce electrical power.

Water Heater/Water Heaters: Singular and plural version. Both heat water, either for domestic or commercial use (car washes) or for the circulation of water through a building to heat the building.

Wood boilers vessel for boiling especially for making steam under pressure. Water tank attached to fire. Metal tub for boiling laundry, vegetables, fowl, etc. suited to boiling. Depending on the requirements, perhaps one wood boiler is sufficient. Does anyone boil wood?

Wood Burner: In early construction days a big barrel burnt the scrapes of construction wood, thus it was a wood burner. Not allowed anymore. Some still refer to more than one wood heating unit as wood burners. Wood construction sites can now burn their scrape in an outdoor water furnace and claim the heat. Turns scraps into savings, keeps the dollars in your pockets. Good for the environment as well.

Wood furnaces / Wood burning furnaces—furnaces that burn wood as their fuel may be inside or out side furnaces. An outdoor wood burning water furnace is safer, cleaner, and more efficient.

Wood fired boiler: A vessel which used wood to heat its liquid to boiling.

Water system or water systems come in many varieties. Can be a reverse osmosis system for better drinking water, a water system to soften water, a heating water system as water can transfer more heat that air is able to do.

Wood gasification boiler: Very efficient gasification process of complete combustion of the wood is used to heat the water in the water jacket. Some projects may be sized to use two wood gasification boilers to build in staging.

Wood heat/ wood heating: is heat that comes from the combustion/burning of wood. Mostly likely is one of the first methods of heat.

Wood heater/Wood heaters: Can you tell me why you want to heat wood? Is this a process for seasoning lumber? Actually I think it is a heating method with wood as it’s fuel.

Wood Stove /Wood stoves: Technically a wood stove is good for one burn! My grandma had a wood cook stove. Now it refers to a stove that burns wood, maybe for heating, maybe for cooking or perhaps both.
